Christmas Gifts ~ For Gardening Friends

Starter Green Houses!
I love Christmas because it's one of my favorite times a year! But not being rich always makes it so hard. I want to give so much to so many people that have touched my life but we don't always have the money to do that!
This year I found seed starter greenhouse cats very cheap at the Christmas Tree Store, back in August. I picked him up for less than a dollar figuring I can use them for my four gardening friends.

My Seeds I saved for my friends
I also started to save some of my own gardening seeds this year. I plan on giving the four different type of seeds that I have safer my gardens my gardening friends I also have eight more spots to fill in the seed starter kit.

All my seeds, think I have enough??
Luckily my hubby Loves to buy me seeds all the time so I have many to choose from to share with my friends.

The only question is what seats to share? Do you have any ideas?

Daily Goals ~ Saturday, Decemerber 7th, 2013

Good morning. I'm feeling better to get up and move. I did promise hubby, I wouldn't drive anywhere because one of my medicines are making me dizzy. So time to get the house back in order.

Today's Goals
  1. Pay Bills ~ Ugh I hate this job more than the rest. I hate seeing our money go, even though I know it has too.
  2. Clean ~ our house was so nice before the holidays, now its a mess. Time to get it back in order, before it gets out of hand.
  3. Gardening ~ Repot my plants. I bought parsley and mint plant to help with my cold. I also was giving a rosemary plant. I want to replant them all, in potting soil that has food in it.
  4. Couponing ~ I need to get them organized. It was nice to have what my family need to cook in the house while I was sick. Plus Giant came back with $.40 off gas again, so we got some much free food this week.
  5. Relax ~ I want to take a hot bath and just relax and not over work myself. I'm feeling better but don't want to push it.
What are you doing today?

Good Morning

Good morning how are you? Not really much going over here in my garden. Plus I'm getting over a week long cold. I ended up having as Asthmatic bronchitis. And that's why I always say some herbs are supposed to help you but I'm not a doctor so I cannot give you answers. After a week of honey and tea cough medicine and make well I came to the realization that I am not a doctor and can't treat everything and winning good thing I did. Please remember that when you're trying to take herbs and you don't feel like you're getting better get some modern medicine can help you get better and is necessary.
Other than that not much going on. We had a nice Thanksgiving how was your guys Thanksgiving?

Gardening tip- Herbs that you cook with can help you with your cold

I love this chart, the person that made it was awesome

If you have been following my blog, you know I have been researching herbs for medical use. I love this chart because you have some of these in you kitchen already. I am going to give this a try before we run out to the store and grab medicine. (I am not saying that if you have issues don't see your doctor, because they do have ways to help you and I'm not a doctor) I am hoping to have some of these every growing fresh in 3 to 4 weeks.

Have you use any of these herbs to get over a cold? If so what did you use and did it work?

I know you are seeing Hamburger Helper on my Menu. It is because on Wednesday's, when my little one is home, she is in charge of dinner. I don't help her cook it, I'm at work. (Hubby is home and there if she needs help) Right now see is working on doing it on her own, and these are easy for her to make. We also keep Hamburger Help on hand in the basement, just in case we need quick dinner. What do you have on hand for quick dinners?

Daily Goals ~ December 2,2013

Ugh fighting this cold, I will give it a few more days o work it out of my system, if it isn't  gone by Friday. Off to the Doctors I will go. I won't deal with a 2 week cold, without seeing a doctor. I am at this point using over the counter Dayquil and Nightquil, plus mint tea, with parsley and raw honey, and cinnamon. The tea seems to help for a hour then it right back to crap.
Today's goals
  1. Work ~ I go back to work today. I work 9am-2pm. It should be an easy day. My little one has school, therefore it just me and the baby.
  2. Cleaning ~ clean Kitchen, Hubby and I worked so hard on hang the house picked up I don't want to lose it.
  3. Couponing ~ I need to cut and organize my coupons. Lots of good sales at the Giant this week. My gas will pay for cookies, pancake mix, and sandwiches. I  love those weeks.
  4. Make dinner ~  have to plan and make dinner for the week.
  5. Write my weekly Goals ~ I love having goals to go on for the week. It makes me feel like I did something.
What are you doing today? In our area its 1st day of hunting season, hubby already out!
