Gardening ~ planting Garlic





Garlic is a spice I use in my everyday life. I cook with garlic all the time. I decide this year I want to plant to harvest of garlic, spring and fall. This should give me more than enough garlic to replant every season and to harvest and cook with.



Garlic is a bulb, so it is easy to plant and harvest. You plant the bulb into the ground and let grow for months and harvest. Here is information on planting garlic in the fall.

Garlic is dated back to the Roman times. The soldiers would carry the bulb between there toes, to fight off infection. Garlic has been mentioned even in the Bible as a food the Israelites love and missed. Breaking the Garlic up into bulbs to plant

The way I plant my garlic is to break put the garlic into little bulbs. 2 garlic give me more than enough garlic bulbs to plant for this spring. I dig 3-4 inch deep and plant the bulb.

Make sure you plant the bulb up so it can grow. Then cover with dirt and water. Now all you do throughout the growing season is water.
