Gardening- 7 weeks before my last frost~ weekly goals

According to my book Week-by-Week Vegetable Gardener’s Handbook, this week is a busy week! I'm so excited we will be planting outside. I am a little worried with the huge snow storm they say might be coming, but I hoping it is the last. According to my weather channel app, it is suppose to be in the 50 after that until Wednesday. Before I plant in the ground, I will check it again. I might even think about putting up the greenhouse this weekend.

Weekly goals
1. Garden boxes- add compost and wood ash and work it into the soil
2. Onions- trim them to 4 inch
3. Plant outside- pea seeds, and spinach seeds, carrots, beets leaf lettuce and green onions
4. Trill soil
5. Transfer - all cold crops into greenhouse
6. Plant inside- chamomile, daisy and pansies

There will be a lot going on plus I have some cold crops, I didn't plant yet that I need to get started! There is so much going on! I can't wait in about 2 weeks first day of Spring.

  1. Hi! I found your link on MoneySavingMom. I'm so impressed that you're doing all of this work to get ready for gardening in the spring. I've always wanted to try to grow some of our food, but so far I've only been able to get basil to survive! :-) Very cool blog!

    1. Thank you for your kind words. I am not the perfect gardener, but I do enjoy it. I am very bless to have a family that helps me too. I would say give it a try with little garden. This is my 4th year with the garden, and I have expanded every year. Good luck! Enjoy that fresh grown basil! :)
