Wedding Wednesday- Picking Out Bridesmaid Dresses

Isn't the color perfect???

Last weekend I went bridesmaid shopping with my daughter, mom, and one of my bridesmaids. I'm still not sure if one bridesmaids in it and the other one lives far away, so she will buy her on her own.
When we got there, I thought I was going to use David's bridal's make mint green. I thought the color was perfect. But once I got there and have the girls try it on I thought like it look more blue than green. Then my little one tried on different a dress in the Clover green.  I looked at my mom and said "I'm changing the color to this color." My mom agreed that the darker green look better on the girls and would work better for a March wedding.
I had a lot of fun trying on the dresses with the girls. They tried on about four dresses until they tried on the dress. As soon as I saw this dress on my daughter, I knew it was the one. The girls loved it to. It fit them nicely!!

It's perfect!! You can see her cowboy boots!!

The F15608 CLOVER style dress was prefect for the wedding!! It was long so we keep them warm during the cold March, but it was short enough to show off their cowboy boots!! It looked great on both of the girls. I'm so excited I can't wait to see the dress walking down the isle!!!
How did you pick out your bridesmaids dress? Did your girls help you or did you pick it out?

Wedding Wednesday - Flower Girl Gifts

I'm so excited! My Flower Girl Gift came in!! We decide that we are doing a country classic theme. Therefore my Briadmaids are going to pearls as jewelry. The other reason is want them to do pearls is because hubby told me when we first started to date that "when we get married he would buy me a pearl and every year we are married." It was so sweet.

They are here!!!!

I was talking to hubby and we thought pearls on the little ones wouldn't looked right. They will be 9 and 6 at the time. I couldn't see them ever wearing them again. I want something they could wear after the wedding.

The earrings

I found these! They are cute. My 12 year old would wear them. The come both necklace and earrings!! I'm so excited.
I think the girls will look perfected in them! Plus it is a pearl so they will match my briadmaids but in a very cute kid way!  I found this at Light in the Box, they sometimes sponsor my page.

Wedding Wednesday - Wedding Dress 2

My wedding dress 2

After a lot of something with my mom we've decided that we're going to do a second dress. Knowsome of you are thinking that this is not sound like me and like a Bridezilla type of action. But my mom is very concerned on how old addresses, with that and all the dancing we decided to change after my first dances.

Now how do I find a dress to fit my budget! Yes I did it $30 for the dress shipped to my house! I love the fact that it short in the frount and long and flowing in the back. Being short make it so you will be able to see my boots!! I'm so excited.

My mom is happy because we can keep the dress in good shape. This is exciting because my little want to wear the dress too!! Ok that would be awesome!!

Wedding Wednesday- My Mom's Wedding dress

Look at the dress on my Mom I can't wait to wear it!!
I am so lucky. My Aunt has taking amazing care of her wedding dress and it the one her and my mother got married in. I can remember being little and hang out with her and her showing me the dress and saying I can get married in it. I have deside that I want to. The women that got married in the dress bought have great marriages that have lasted over 30+ years!
I don't think there is anything I want more then to wear the dress my mom married my dad in. Plus it's the same dress my Aunt married my Uncle in. I look at my parent's and my Aunt marriage, the good,  the bad, and the great and see they made it.
I have some weight to lose to get into it. (Okay a lot of weight 40lbs, but I have a over a year to work on it) That's what I get for wanting to wear a dress at 30 that someone else wore at 21.
I can't wait until the day I walk down the i'll man I want to spend the rest my life with! 367 more days until Our Big Day!!!

My Mom and her parents on her wedding day! Look at the trail!!! So pretty

Wedding Wednesday- Save the Date Ideas

After looking a lot online and trying to figure out what hubby and I like the most. We decided we want to make our own save the dates. Luckily I have an awesome cousin who is fantastic at crafts. She helped me figure out what I needed to make the save the dates and how to make them. She also help me figure out how I want to make my invitations!

Idea 1 for the Save the Date, I love this!
We went to Michael's and bought everything I need for my save the dates and my invitations. You want to guess the final cost? $30!! Yes that's right $30 for 50+ save the dates and invitations.
Hubby and I have decided to break down the invitations and save the dates in half. We have 10 months to make all the invitations. We also have five months to make the save the dates. We are hoping to have the save the dates done by April. After they are finished then I worry about the invitations.

Idea 2 for Save the Dates
We are combining the two ideas into our own idea for our Save the Dates. Just wait until you see our design!!

Wedding Wednesday- it's finally over!

No I am not talking about my own wedding! My brother and sister-in-law's wedding is finally over. They announced their wedding and wedding date two days after I announced ours and they're waiting to eat was a month before we originally wanted ours. And yes that's set the tone for the whole entire time that they were planning their wedding. It was so frustrating that hubby and I decided that we wanted to push her wedding back a year to give them time to get over theirs and when to cut a lot of fighting and arguing out.
They had an amazing wedding and I'm happy for them. It was everything they wanted and everything they deserved.
I put a lot of time in helping her figure out what she wanted the way she wanted her wedding and put our wedding on the back burner. I also learned a lot of things through their wedding that I would not want to happen at mine.
Now though it's time to focus on my wedding and the way hubby and I plan our day to go! I can't wait
